The only thing that I found is that when I put the battery cable back on I was at just over 3/4 tank and it was telling me that I have 550 km DTE and before that I have never seen over 440 km DTE with a full tank.
I wonder why they ask you to remove the battery cable?

I think that I read somewhere that it is for the truck to learn that there is a new intake in the truck. But there is the sensor to remove so maybe that is why as well but not 100% on either of these.

Default Today I put in lights.....

I spent the day fighting with those damn OEM lights, so I could install my Spyders. These so called easy DIY jobs always end up with me losin' it. Lol

Removed my chrome flares that came with the truck, and the chrome bug deflector that was huge, washed and vaccumed my truck and sea foamed thru the brake booster. Had a great day today doing it too.

Default What did you do to your truck today?

How about we start a thread for quick pics of what you just added to your truck and keep it going?

Here's what I added today! This is a BakFlip Fibermax. The kit was pretty straight forward and was relatively easy for one person to install by themselves. I had to slightly modify a couple of the L brackets due to spacing issues but other than that easy as pie!

I printed out my Order Sheet, and polished and waxed it til it shined!

the next 8-10 weeks are going to go really slow.

bonus, get my truck when it's warm and get time to get it ready for winter!

BTW, what's your opinion of the Fibremax Versus the G1?

As long as you don't take it to bed with you or as long as you wife doesn't catch you with it under your pillow I think you'll be alright! I bought the Fibermax because of the weight rating. I figure I will never come close to putting 400lb on top of it but if I do need to load something on there I won't have to worry about it.
