Default 3.7 to 5.7 engine swap

howdy, im new here, but was wondering if anybody knew of any complications in swappin a 3.7 to a 5.7? i have a complete truck to pull parts for the 5.7, but wanted to know if it would work? thanks!

To begin with you will need the entire drivetrain. Engine, trans, wiring, and pcm. Depending on the age difference between the 2 vehicles if there is any there are a lot of other variables that you will likely have to get very creative with. It can certainly be done, but its not a weekend swap. This will be a huge undertaking.

sounds cheaper to either rebuild what you have or get another truck. wish i could be more help.
