Default 2005 CAI Discussion. I need help deciding.

Im looking to buy a CAI, but there are soo many out there promising to beat the others. If possible id like to start a discussion based on two topics, looks and Performance gains. id like to get some good testimonials on this. Thank you

I had a BFI on my 05, best out there but no longer made, that being said the S&B would be my choice if I needed one for my 05 Hemi agin........ Looks awesome and performance seems to be top notch from all the posts I have read.....

I've heard nothing but good things about the S&B. and can't you get the fog light scoop option with those too? So it's more of a true cold air intake pulling air from outside the engine compartment.

With the exception of the BFI I feel that all CAI's perform the same or are most likely within 1-3hp of each other. Nothing you are gonna really feel. This is a breathing device - not a turbo so you will not feel gut wrenching H.P.. I would simply find one that you like that is in your budget and pull the trigger. However I would stay away from ebay- beware you get what you pay for. Goodluck!

For what its worth i have a K&N 63 series.
