I use Meguires #62 Car Wash. Have used it for a few years and I'm really happy with the results. Not a ton of suds but does a good.

Megs 62 is a good clean rinsing shampoo. I never got around to using it, but it gets great reviews.

What I have used with great success is Optimum Car Wash, which smells great and cleans great. It is mild on the car's wax or sealant but leaves an incredible gloss. The Adam's Shampoo is comparable though, I don't like it as well but that could be a personal preference where I like the smell and suds of the Optimum Wash.

The duragloss product gets very good reviews as well. If they had it locally I would have bought it by now.

Lastly, I do have and currently use Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Gloss. It is a 1oz per 4 gallon of water dilution so it lasts a long time. It is very effective at stripping waxes at well when used at a 1 oz per gallon ratio. I use it mixed very strong in a spray bottle to presoak my wheels and tires [the wheels have opticoat on them and can't be stripped with chemicals]. At $22 a gallon and 1oz per wash that's 128 washes, which seems like a ton, but I use it often on a few vehicles and I use it at higher dilutions when stripping the paint or making a prewash solution.

Adams Detail spray and wash soap & buckets are so great!! It is also a made in USA company / product and if you dont like it the guarantee is this: If you are not exceptionally satisfied with any Adam's Premium Car Care product, they will refund your money, plus 10%. they will also replace the item with a like product of your choice. Hard to argue with that!!

Another vote for Meguires and I find it has plenty of suds. Daggertats is correct, how hard or soft your water is definitely affects the amount of suds.

Definitely stay away from the dish soap it is far too harsh. When I was young, I remember some of the old car guys used baby shampoo because it was gentler.

I am using Griots Garage now and have used McGuires Gold. Both very good.
