Default Intake manifold for durango fit ram??

Hey guys! New the forums. Names John and I drive 2001 dodge ram 1500 5.9l v8. FUN TRUCK!

Anyways, had to change the thermostat, took of one bolt and the another bolt snapped. I tried everything to remove the bolt but nothing. Pretty sure that sucker is rusted and seized up. So... I tried drilling a new hole on top but no luck. Had to drill a hole of to the side a bit. Threaded it, put everything back together and... Well it was leaking. I jb welded that crap and now a week later there's a small leak. So I called the junk yard and found durango with a 5.9 engine. Guy said it has the same intake manifold. True? Will it work? Also, do I gotta surface the manifold or clean it good and slap it on with new gaskets? I bought all gaskets and bolts including plenum. Got some question and tried searching but no luck.

1. Will the intake manifold from a durango 5.9 work on my 5.9 dodge ram?
2. 12 foot pounds tq. for the manifold, what's the tq. for the plenum?

Thanks for all the help! Any tips are welcomed haha 👍

Yes, the will interchange with no problems, as long as they have the same vacuum nipples on the sides.

The 12# is manifold bolt torque. They are torque to yield though so dont reuse them. they may snap.

Thanks for the quick reply! If its the same other than it has 1 vacuum nipple would I be able to use a splitter to run two hoses into one worst case? Gunna Check out tomorrow. If its the same engine I would assume its the same with 2 nipples.

splitters are fine. much of your vacuum is simply applied static, so flow is less important than simple continuity.
