I like the list everyone has provided you
Another option is a Torque Converter. But that may eat up your entire $1K when you factor in shipping.

If you need pricing on any of those mods, let me know and I will give you the best deal possible for being a Z member

Yes it's $200 over. But that's what I'd do if I already had 1k.
If you call Vararam they will honor their promo and sell for 319 so now your only 160 over ... Vararam is nice. but it was to much muscle looking for me...

As for seat of your pants performance, only the Ypipe, Headers,
Exhaust, Programmer and Converters ect will make a difference in your budget range. As for the 180 T and the Catch Can, they don't add any noticeable horsepower or torque. The Catch Can in my opinion is a waste of money. How many users find a significant amount of Engine Oil in the Can?
Unless your rings are gone and blow by is significant, Catch Cans are a waste of money.

Not true. Quite alot of oil will accumulate in a catch can between oil changes, even on new engines. That oil ends up in your intake system and degrades the octane of your gas, leading to knock issues on tuned (and even untuned) engines. A 180 tstat, along with e-fan set at 190, decreases engine temps and reduces chance of spark knock as well. Both of these mods are recommended by Sean @ hemifever for his tunes.
Also, a catch can traps oil vapor from the crankcase, so it has nothing to do with blow-by from worn rings.

I didn't get my catch-can tell I had about 10,000 miles on my truck and just a month after putting it on and empting it every week or to there is plenty of oil in it. I then changed out the stock throttle body for a ported one from fastman and this is when I fond the gunk build up on the stock throttle body there was even oil in the seal under the throttle body and smut in the intake. So yes they work quite well. And if your running a higher octane fuel you don't want oil in there with it. these trucks aren't two-stroke's

If you plan on supercharging I would skip the intake, the factory one is good enough for now and you will just have to sell your intake when you get your supercharger.
