Default Whine/squeal from engine after warming up

Hey everyone, I know this is a common issue with dodges in general but I didn't see a recent thread on the issue so here goes:
My 2010 ram with the 5.7 has a squeal/whine/chirp noise coming from the front of the engine in the belt area. It only seems to start when the engine is warmed up (15 minutes or more), and only does it occasionally, mainly at idle and dies when I start to get on the gas. There is one thing that mine has been doing that no one else complaining of these noises has mentioned. Sometimes when I shut the engine off and am walking away I will hear that same whine pitched noise blowing off as if its pressure relieving from something. I will try to get a video and post a link to it on youtube or something if I can catch it happening. I don't think its the belt or camshaft sensor or pulley like most people determine to be the issue, unless its a new gatorback belt with pressure relief option. The only thing I can think of making a blow off noise is a pump.

Anyone have the same issue or at least some ideas?

I'm supposed to be driving from my base in Panama City, FL to my new base in Anchorage, Alaska in a month so I kind of need to figure this issue out lol. Thanks!

Thanks man, do you have that blow off noise too? It wouldn't really bother me much normally, but I don't want a water pump or worse yet the engine blowing up on me halfway through a 4500 mile drive.

The drive will suck, no doubt, but I'll make a pretty penny doing it!

my radio is on when the truck turns on til it turns off -- I only catch the noise as i am getting out of the truck .. I have a waranty so it doesnt bother me that bad , but i was figuring it to be the serpentine belt on the tensioner ..

4500 miles !!!!! wow -- I would be flying and having the truck and my stuff delivered -- I would think that would be cheaper.

My dealer found my noise with a new tool called..("Electronic Ear")

The after shut-off noise may be the AC pressure equalizing.

Try spraying the belt with soapy water while its running to rule out the belt.

I have been wanting to try the water on the belt but it hasn't squeaked in a week or so, probably haven't driven long enough to get it fully warmed up.

I was assuming its coming from either the water, steering or ac pump, I had not thought of the radiator cap. I will try to replace that and the belt just to eliminate it. Doesn't O'Reillys have the mechanics stethoscope that they can bring out and check for noises? I hate stealerships and try avoiding them at all costs
