Default c code 00 00

Hi All
I have the engine light on all the time and on checking the code it comes up only one code 00 00.
No one can tell me what it is.
Everything function perfect and starts perfect.
I have a basic 4.7 2002 1500 with no cruise control or any other extras, just plain old Dodge. It runs well and gives good economy just this light on.
Any suggestions please.
thanks
Paul

Best I can find is "end of test, no errors found" or something like that. As for the check engine light itself, when was the last time you had it serviced? Sounds like there is a reset needing to be done.

I turned the key on an off quickly with the odometer button pushed in and the dash panel goes through a self test and shows the codes where the mileage reads.
It comes up c code 00-00.
If I disconnect the battery it goes out for a day or so then comes on again.

Found one that says its Vehicle speed information circuit. This was for a 2004 Ram.

Check your gas cap. Click it 4-5 times when tightening it.

You need to pull the codes with an OBDII scanner that can pull manufacturer specific codes as well as generic codes.

Try doing the key trick without the odometer button pushed in, Just On - Off, On - Off , On - Off , On and see what it displays,

Thats how mine works to show codes.
