Question (4x4) Can I ditch the Torsion bars?

Whats up everyone, This is my first post on here. My apologies if this is in the wrong area.

I have a 2003 ram 1500 4wd. I am constantly high centering on my torsion bars and the drop down bracket when I'm wheelin'. I have even ripped one of my torsion bars out completely and lost it in the mud

Do all 4wds without a straight axle have torsion bars?

I'm not too mechanically inclined... Obviously. But I would like to know if there is a way to ditch the torsion bars without doing a straight axle swap.

Only the half tons after 2002 have IFS with torsion bars. The 3/4 ton and 1 ton trucks have SFA's. I wouldn't run your truck without torsion bars or it'll be hoppin' down the road.
Keep it Mopar, buy Mopar Parts.

I am completely disgusted every time I think about having to take a distributor cap off of one of these trucks -Screamintrashcan

To the best of my knowledge SAS is about the only way to go...unless you lift your truck and get bigger tires. More room underneath for fun!
