Pretty much all of the halogen bulbs suck in those headlights. You can upgrade to a set of HIDs and see a real difference, just make sure you aim them properly after the install. If you don't want o deal with HIDs, the you can go to something like the Oracle HOD bulb or a SilverStar. I had the SilverStars for a while and while better light, they burned out a lot faster.

I had the same problem with my headlights on my 08 Ram. I ended up switching them out for 6000k Plug n Play HID kit. I still do have to properly correct the aim, but even with them being blinders, they are a huge noticable difference. I am driving on dark back roads every night with the tendency of deers and people jogging on them. With HID's I am capabe of seeing over double what I used to be able to see, and with them still as blinders, I can pretty much see all of the cornfields on both sides too lol.

But yea, HID kits do make a huge difference on the 08 over the garbage halogens which were on them before. I looked at some higher halogens, but read reviews about them burning out fairly fast, and with these HID's, the shop gave me a 1 year warranty on everything for it.
