Default Lifting my Dodge New tires with stock wheels

I want to give my 2011 Ram 1500 big horn a lift. I don't need much, so I'm thinking a 2.5 or 3" lift. I plan o keeping my stock 20" wheels (stock on big horn) and adding some Goodrich BFG All Terrain 33's. This is my first time, so I'm looking for some advice..is this an OK plan? I don't want to overkill on a lift, but will the tires and wheels with this lift clash or look silly? Will I have any issues with clearance or turning? Thanks in advance.

That should work fine and look great! Before I lifted mine, I had 33" Terra Grapplers on my truck with just a 2.5 inch level in the front.

Stock tires are 33", level the front and away you go. It matches perfect

If you want to fit 35s, you need a level & body lift combo. Or a lift kit

SO I guess I can do a leveling kit and BFG 33's and keep it simple. Or My other option is a 3" lift with 35's..wonder how that would turn out on my 20" stock wheels??

your plan for 33's will work just fine dont go over 2.5 in the front and a 35x12.5 will work with 1/4 inch wheel spacer
