The 3:55's wouldn't be as bad if you could rev safely to 6800-7000 rpm with a 3000 stall converter. It would give you a much better shift recovery rpm and the top end would reel competitors back in.

3.55 gear for reg cab is fine.But 4 door u need lower gear to get that wieght moving.

Trd package has 4.30,or you can get them with 4.11.they have a very low first gear.I think with a tuner,cai the ram would give a tundra a run.

I'll admit my friend 12 tundra 2wd cc is faster than my 2013 1500 4x4 3.55 cc ram. But I took him with my 09 2wd that had 3.92's. I really wish I got 3.92's in my new one I though the 3.55's would get me better mpg's, that was a epic fail. Worse mileage and a slower truck that doesn't tow as well.
