I spoke to the tech support and they said the only way to change the "RF OUT" is manually for now.... so much for buying the xkloader....

Stupid question, but how do you change it manually if not using the xloader.

Using the black 10 pin connector. Maybe someone else can elaborate on how to do it specifically.

I have a fix people!!! After being frustrated as hell I read the manual and found the fix. You don't need the xkloader nor the 10 connector. If your RF out is off, but the dball is programmed to your vehicle, do this.

Connect the dball to your vehicle
Turn the key to on, then turn it off and pull out key.
Hold programming button on dball until orange light shows, then let go.
Then dball will the flash green. When you see the green light, click the unlock button on your key fob.
Then dball should then be flashing, green red red, which is the correct programming.
Hold the programming button again until orange. Bam!!!
Lock three times and presto!

Hope this helps guys.

Glad you figured it out! I didn't get a manual with mine, but this sounds like the fix that the seller had me go through over the phone. This means it WASN'T me goofing up the install, it was HIM not setting the RF out correctly like I asked when I bought it.

I didn't have my manual or the 10 pin connector so I just looked up a manual on the internet. I guess they have recently changed the way you program the dball. There's no longer an option for rftd just from a features list while flashing it. So it might not have been your guys fault. Although blaming you was :P.

OK, he didn't blame me, but there were no instructions what so ever with the DBall, I was just trying to install it according to instructions in this thread. When I emailed him he was good to call me and talk me through it. It works good, so I'm happy.

BTW it works good, but when I put the key in the ignition and turn to run, I get a message of "low tire" once on the display, but no warning light. Anybody else get this?
