My sons 2012 express with 3.21 open rear and a 26" dragradial and B&G tune with 500 miles ran a 13.83@100.
Now we put 4.56's and posi in and our track opens Feb.23 so we'll see whats up.rev. Limiter is at 5800 that sucks.


Dont think it has much for the 5.0 F150's yet but we are working on it.

that 26" dr will be too short for those 4.56's... I ran 28" slicks on my 4.56's and i had to manipulate the shifter to keep out of 4th gear and the rpms are well into the 6k range...

We have a set of 28" drag radials also.I dont think it will stay in third anyway because it hit fourth with the 26" and 3.21 but we shall see.third gear is very very short.

with us 3rd gens...when we go into 3rd and reach 5k rpms, we downshift the lever to 2nd. It won't downshift to 2nd but will hold 3rd through the traps...

Its not that,its the rev. Limiter is to low and you need to shift fourth.

ahh got it..i have my limiter set for 7k with shifts starting at 6100 and shifting around 6600 i think....

Fred, these 4th gens are using 2P as third and 4th is our 3rd. I am going to up my rev limit to 7k and get some 28-29" tires for this season. Once I find someone to weld a bung into my header collector I am going to get Dave to set me up with a tune for everything and get this fat pig in the low 13's. I sick of all these mostly stock trucks starting to out run me, lol.

I tried to get the guy from B&G chrysler to raise the limiter to 6500 but hes a block head.stock is 5600 and my sons is 5800.
