I believe it's the exact same seats since I've upgraded the entire cabin. All is identical aside from the colour options in the Laramie/Longhorn.

I'm still just trying to think if I should knock any upgrades off that aren't needed. That air suspension better be covered in warranty and I'm very interested in extending the warranty program if the money is right.

These new toys are prone to technological errors being a new introduction and so many gadgets.

No. The Laramie leather seats are different from the Sport Leather seats. The Laramie Longhorn seats are even better than the regular Laramie leathers seats

Hmm...

I thought stitching and colour was the only difference.

Another thing you can't get on anything except for the Laramie/Longhorn is the memory for the mirrors, seat position, climate & radio presets. Memory is tied to the key fob. Only important if someone else drives your Ram though. I wanted it since my wife is a bit shorter than me and it's annoying having to reset my seat and mirrors everytime she's drivin my current vehicle.

I found the Laramie and sport seats to be the exact same. The longhorn uses real leather so you would need to take care of it. I had a 2012 Laramie now I have a 2013 sport I love the sport. Laramie was nice but I just feel I am now in a unique cool ram. :-) the coil is a great ride I don't think you will be sacrificing much on ride. As far as price 53000 is way to much for a sport. Mine had every option possible minus the 8speed and air and I paid 44200.included rear seat dvd side steps and had box liner from factory. I think there is 2000 more rebates now so you should be 2000 less that. I am in Alberta maybe rebates are different not sure.

Good point @explorerrob but I'd be the only driver.

And I agree there with you but at the same time the Sport would almost be maxed out on upgrades at that cost. It'd come with the convenience group, sport group, navi, ram boxes, tri-fold tonneau cover, mopar door to door steps, 8-speed, 4x4, crew cab. Air ride is also included. When I test drove the Laramie and it had all that, I felt like it was a must if I got the Sport since the sport does have a totally different look.

I just couldn't believe how much the price did go up. Pisses me off that the sunroof was almost $1,500 + a mandatory subwoofer box at nearly $500. What gives? They don't even relate! That's $2,000 right there!!!

I have every option... Navy. Sunroof. Sport premium. Group. Keyless entry push button start. Spray in box liner side steps. Flaps. Rear dvd. Leather trailer tow. Auto high beam and rain sensing wipers. Only thing I don't have is 1500$ air suspension and 1200$ 8speed. 53000$ is to much. I think their was another guy that paid less than me. In Edmonton

Fake hood air intakes on the Sport are a major turn-off. Would it have cost Chrysler that much to provide a bit of functionality?

Ya you'd figure they'd make the hood functional as opposed to being pure esthetics. It still looks good though but Chrysler should have touched on a few things that they missed on. The hood being one, automatic side steps, LED interior lighting etc. My old man's F150 Platinum is a 2010 and has all that stuff.

Looks like I'll have to make the dealer bend over a barrel a bit tomorrow to cut me a break here on these upgrades.
