Bone stock 2012'S are running high 12's with a decent driver.

I use to own and run a purpose built drag car and I've seen lots of stock Mustangs run in the high 12's at the track.

I can't wait until a tuner comes out for my 2013 Ram because the torque management and traction control is killing me.

No doubt it was a 5.0 but I know with a half decent driver it should have run at least a 13 flat.....Dodgert I guarantee you if you raced five 5.0s you might beat one like I did but like others have said the new 5.0s are nasty in stock form.

Hell with comparable bolt ons that I have they are easily running low 11s and some have broken 10s N/A......With a supercharger and TC they are running in the 9s now.

106 trap speed should be good for a high 12 second pass. I love my Ram but my older 5.0 has been 13 flat with a 103 trap speed.
He was on street tires for sure with a 60 ft that bad. My old 99 Dakota had 60 ft's that slow when I had snows on and an open diff.

Either way nice pass with the Ram!

A stock 2011 & 2012 v6 can run 13.8-14.2 and yes with trap speeds up 107. A 2011 and newer gt are 12 sec cars and even with a bad driver shouldn't be higher than high 13's and that's with a very bad driver. I can see a newer ram with mods taking on a stock 4.6 or older 5.0, but the new coyote will tear a new ram apart even with some mods. I have both a ram and a built 89 notch so I need to defend both.

Here's the Vid of a 13.89 pass vs the Mustang

Pic of the slips

13.89 is a kick ass time for a big old N/A Ram ! Don't matter who was in the other lane.
