Mileage will take a hit. Just the tire alone weigh more than the entire stock setup.
I'd say you'll see a 2-3 mpg hit

Maybe in the long run but the first 700miles or so on this setup does NOT show those types of MPG drops......especially on the interstates, which has surprised the crap out of me.

I'll comment further this weekend after I've accumulated about 1200miles since installation.

I do think it's a worthy investment.

I will say this though: a forum member claims he is working with S&B Intakes' technical department designing a "new & improved" Scoop for our trucks, so that may be worth the wait. I have no reason to doubt his claims, but....

I'm calling my contact at S&B Intakes tomorrow to find out it's authenticity and, if so, an ETA on its release.

I'll post an update tomorrow.

If you have none to minimal movement, then that's amazing.
But you should see movement, otherwise I'm trading trucks with you. Haha

Oh no, I have movement, just not 3MPG [or more] like I was expecting.

Thus far, I have lost a hair over 2MPG in city driving and about 1.6MPG on the highways. With the poor rolling resistance of these tires, those highways numbers to date surprise the crap out of me. I lost almost 4MPG on my last truck with the same wheel/tire combo on the interstates. But the worst is yet to come with about 500 plus miles planned between now and Saturday and most of that on interste roads. We'll see.....

For the record: I'd trade trucks with you in a heartbeat. Your truck's one of my [very] favorites on the boards.

I don't understand what you mean "uncorrected"...?

This does not look like an even trade now that you are interested.....was hoping you would have said the opposite

Keep us posted on this. You are quite the eloquent writing and one who reviews very well. Definitely looking forward to this
