Your figures don't work out... Chrysler's holdback is 3%. 3% of $43K is about $1300. Plus, your invoice can't be right on an MY 2013 either...
Example Pricing on 3500 CREW SLT 4x4 SB is as follows..(US pricing shown, Canadian prices are higher) Pricing is accurate..
D28H91 - $41,260
ETK Cummins Turbo Diesel - $ 7795
Bighorn Package - $ 1135
D28H91 - $38,441
ETK Cummins Turbo Diesel - $ 6626
Bighorn Package - $ 965
As you can clearly see, the base price of the SLT is $41K and it's invoice is $38K. Based on the that difference alone, there's no way you can get a invoice of $37K on a $43K truck as you are saying... That dealer of yours is giving you bad numbers... These numbers I posted are from a Ram build sheet I have in my hand...
BTW, this build sheet I have, with options, has an MSRP of $56,485. The invoice is $51,555 Hold back on it is just under $1700.
You need to have a talk with your dealer again, about the pricing, because your dealers numbers don't make sense. Unless he's figuring in rebates that currently don't exist on 2013 Ram HD trucks... Ask him to show you the invoice sheet...
BTW, try this http://www.costcoauto.com/
to build the truck you ordered. So far, compared to what my dealer was showing in his ordering system. The MSRP and Invoice pricing was dead on on everything I checked....
If you can actually get that final price of $34K on a $43K MSRP, you're getting a deal like I've never heard of because there's no rebates at this time on MY '13 Ram HD.... You know one of those where the dealer actually takes a loss..
