Default 2013 Sport Projector headlight swap..??

Has anyone swapped 2013 projector style headlights into a 2013 base style headlight truck..? Is it a direct hook up..?

I can get a set off ebay for a good price.

it is not a direct swap, the wiring is different between the non projectors and projectors.
do a quick search for Arth, he did a swap with 2013 projectors.

basic wiring info in this thread

It depends, the first 2013's where coming out with the quad headlights, so the cabling might be diff. I don't think it will be a straight swap, and some modification will probably be needed.

True, but I believe that dodge uses a different wiring loom for the sport/laramie lighting than the lower models. The headlight part numbers are the same (for the express for example) for the 2012 and 2013, so the plugs on the headlight are the same. which would mean two plugs vs one plug for projectors.

(unless I'm incorrect on this. )
