I'm not 100% positive but I think you'll need 1/4" spacers. I know all the guys running 35x12.5 on stock rims use 1/4" spacers and because your tires are the same width you'll probably need them too otherwise they'll rub on the upper control arm.

Yes, you will need 1/4" spacers to run a 12.50. Most people have good luck with the $30-40 slip-on style spacer. They are readily available locally and 1/4" leaves plenty of lug for your nuts to grab onto, lol.

You could always try one on the front without the spacer first and you might get lucky but have them close by cuz I'm pretty certain you will need them.

As they said. If the tires are 12.5" wide (per spec) then you will need a spacer. If the tires are narrower than you can get away without a spacer.

As for wheel spacers.. Are the fairly safe to run on a daily driver doing highway driving and what not? Some people say they are not a problem some people say its dangerous .. Anybody have any advice on this

I had 305/55/20's and they rubbed. I didn't want to run spacers so I sold the setup. That tells you my opinion on them.

Some people aren't crazy over the idea of spacers and that's understandable.....to each his own, of course. But a 1/4" spacer is all that is required to run what you want to run. The biggest concern is how much lug stud there is left for the lug nuts to grip onto and on the Rams, there is plenty. The next concern is that with slip-on type spacers if they manage to get installed off-center they could cause a balance issue and possibly vibrations. A few folks have had issues with that but the vast majority of folks running 1/4" spacers on this forum (and there are several of them) have had zero issues and are perfectly happy with them. Worst case scenario is that you do have vibration issues that you can't solve. The solution is a set of custom made hubcentric spacers that center themselves perfectly and eliminate any possibility of balance issues. They run about $200, however, as I said that is worst case scenario. Chances are that the $30 spacers from the tire place will work just fine.

Make sure the tire shop torques your wheels properly and then recheck them in a couple hundred miles and you will be fine. You should really be doing this anyway whether you have spacers or not. Hope this helps!

^ yup second that. You won't have any problems with a 1/4" spacer. My cousin runs them on his everyday driver and hasn't had any wobble or problems. Like this guy said, the studs are more than long enough for a 1/4" spacer.
