Ive compared to other vehicles in my family, the temp thing at the bank when you drive by, the weather on my phone, and general feel outside. I mean if it reads 28 and it's clearly above freezing out then... It just gets frustrating and kinda voids the purpose of the device. #firstworldproblems

I went to pick up my truck last week. As the dealer was going over the truck he pointed out the outside temp gage. I asked him what was weird with the gage and he had a dumb look on his face. I pointed out that it was snowing outside and the temp was reading 98*. He had no answer I had him call the service manager who told me there's nothing they can do. I told him Im not signing the papers until its fixed and walked away. I told them call me when its fixed and that was last week. Still no truck. Just might cancel and buy a Ford

That's actually a great way to get their attention on the problem versus at their leisure after you signed...I might try that if there are issues when mine comes in.

Are you seriously considering canceling your order over a misreading temperature gauge and going over to the dark side?

Truck was sold today [5/19]. I got an offer I couldn't turn down. I had no more need for a pickup so I cut it loose. About to purchase a '14 Jeep SRT8 this week.

Grub out!

Yeah, these things are off. It's like a plague and has been brought up in several other threads. My truck almost always says it's below freezing and 99% of the time it's well above. It even drops a couple/few more degrees when the truck starts moving. I guess it's measuring wind chill factor, too. I've got a $1000+ weather station at my place, and I monitor other people's weather stations in the area on Wunderground and these trucks are way off. Kinda frustrating.

Problems so far with my Tradesman:
Temp is way off annoying but would not buy a ford for that reason! I figure that someday they will fix it.
Condensation I noticed it a couple times at 1st still watching for it I have Quad lights.
Millage does suck I have 4500 miles on mine. I have 3.92 gears and light truck tires, I know this is a factor. I had this truck to build a truck to tow a trailer which it does most of the time.
All and all I love my truck, best truck I have ever owned!

No I told the dealer that just to let them know i will not stand for this. How can Dodge sign off on a vehicle for production knowing things are not right. If they cant get something simple as an outside temp gage right whats to say that the other gages are not off.
