Default Finally brainwashed the wife!

Lol, after several years and much money sunk into my truck(s), I finally have the wife where I want her.

Last night when I was talking about some mods I had been looking at, she asked how much they were, $300, and her response was "Well, that's not too bad". I was dumbstruck, she's been hounding me for ages about how much I spend on the trucks and suddenly $300 isn't a big enough number for her to gripe over? Where have I gone wrong in my life?

I guess the $3k for a forged block, and $2700 for a tranny in January is changing her mind. It's all relative I guess

I can't get myself to break loose with any money after buying wheels & tires for both my Ram & my Harley 3 wheeler, plus new suspension & an engine rebuild on the Harley

Starting to think about getting rid of the Harley & buying a 1956 Chevy 1/2 ton in need of TLC & lots of mods
or some kind of Rat Rod

You've got a good one there Kurtis, keep her happy LOL

My wife is similar in that regard, she grew up helping her father with hotrodding, etc. She understands the need/ desire for mods, and has even come up with a few of her own over the years

My wife is pretty understanding about most things with the RAM, but she IS Italian, so I still get "The Look". I'm sure there are some of you who know what I am talking about! LOL.
