Default 2001 Dodge Ram Fuel Injector Replacement

Hello all I bought new fuel injectors and they are on their way and I wanted to know if anyone knows the quickest way to replace them, I have the service manual and it says i need to remove the fuel rail of course but it also says to remove the throttle body and air box/ K/N cold air intake is what i got on it, anyways if anyone knows the fastest way to install the injectors with a step by step that would be great thanks guys and gals

Don't have a step by step but i've done this before on my truck. First off the electrical connections have a special clip. If i remember correctly the clip has a red tab that you pull back to unlock it so it can be removed, then slid forward to relock it. Then the fuel rail comes off with two bolts on each side. I had a lot of trouble getting the fuel injectors out of the manifold for some reason. Use wd-40 (or your favorite penetrating oil) and soak down the injectors. Its also a good idea to use some wd-40 to put them back in.
Not too hard of a project if the electrical connections come off easy and the injectors come out. Just make sure you soak those injectors for a minute before pulling on them to get them out.

PB Blaster is your best friend on pulling those injectors out. Take your time. If one breaks - it's gonna cost you. When putting new ones back make sure to use a good torque wrench.
