Default "Plasti Dipped" my emblems - pics

My neighbor wanted to show me how his rear emblem came out on his 2012 Mustang GT so I walked over to check it our and it looked pretty good. I was a little skeptical at first but figured what the hell. You are supposedly able to "peel it off" later but we'll see how it holds up for now.

It looks sharp, nice choice

I decided to get rid of the OEM Emblems, they will go into my box of removed OEM parts,
like my smog hose, i will need the original when i have to start getting smog tested next year
I ordered a set of custom emblems from Billet Badges

Yeah, I guess I am a little late to the Plasti Dip party haha!

I also want some custom badges but will have to wait cause the cost is up there. I am a graphic designer on the side so the plan is to design something cool with s skull on it and get them cut.

I plan on doing the rest of the emblems tonight.

Billet Badges will take your design & custom machine them
They don't have any inventory, everything is made when the order comes in

My new emblems are quite heavy
the larger one goes on the tailgate

Looks good, I've also got a black ram and will probably do that to the front and rear. Then I'm thinking a debadge and powdecoat the wheels black or find some RT 22's and powdercoat them. I'm thinking I want to try this murdered out look.

Looks sharp!

Did you remove the badges or spray in place?

I did mine today (plasitdip) - I kept the Rams head badges in place and masked them off.
4 coats between other outdoor chores and the job is done. Looks great. To be honest- I can see the rear badge lasting forever due to location. I think the front will get worn down quick due to bug strikes. We'll see.
