Default Front brakes help - first post and I'm already in trouble!!

'03 front brakes - just replaced both hubs and new rotors, calipers, and pads. Had to disconnect old calipers and left lines off for 4 hours before installing new calipers. Now I can't get then to bleed properly. Pedal still goes to floor - see no leaks at master cylinder - is there a valve or something blocked??? Mine is 4 wheel antilock..
Thanks in advence for any assistance.

Default ABS Brake Bleeding

This is from the 2003 truck service manual:
ABS system bleeding requires conventional bleeding methods plus the use of the DRB scan tool. The procedure involves performing a base brake bleeding, followed by use of the scan tool to cycle and bleed the HCU (Hydraulic Control Unit) pump and soleniods. A second base brake bleeding procedure is then required to remove any air remaining in the system.
(1) Perform base brake bleeding.
(2) Connect scan tool to the Data Link Connector.
(3) Select ANTILOCK BRAKES, followed by MISCELLANEOUS, then ABS BRAKES. Follow the instructions displayed. When scan tool TEST COMPLETE, disconnect scan tool and proceed.
(4) Perform base brake bleeding a second time.
(5) Top off master cylinder fluid level and verify proper brake operation before moving vehicle.

So if you got air into the ABS system you need the DRB scan tool to get the air out of the ABS system.

Next time before you disconnect any brake lines, pull the fuse for the brake lights and block the brake pedal down just far enough to stop it from dripping when you disconnect the brake lines. And it will not drain the master cylinder and avoid getting air in the ABS system.

Hope this helps.
