Have you checked the fuel pressure? Fuel Filters all replaced? New (Gapped Right Plugs) and proper sized wires? Proper Coil/Dist.............Make sure that all of the battery connections are clean and tight and that you have a good battery. Is your truck auto or manual?????

I am having the same problem with my 97 Ram 2500, 5.9L. It cranks over for a long period of time before it starts. Battery and starter are good. I did a tune up (plugs, wires, cap, rotor) but Im still having the same problem. Sometimes is longer than others. Im wondering about a fuel pressure leak?? If anyone figures it out, please let me know.

hey, i'm new to this site, and very new to dodge's, and i'm having the same problem with. i have a 96, 2500 with the V10. sometimes it starts right up (rarely) but mostly it takes a good few seconds to crank, and sometimes it takes a few times. any help would be great.
