The NAV is not that great, especially for what it costs, but as long as I have cell service I always have google maps as a backup.
I won't even bother with another in-dash nav either.
What I am thinking about doing is replacing the in dash radio in my next truck, with a 7" Galaxy Tab 2, If there are aftermarket adapters to facilitate this for Ram. I know it's possible with GM, but a lot of things are possible in a GM vehicle that are not so easy in a Chrysler vehicle.

By now you all have had a chance to get irritated with both the 730N RER & RHR radios with NAVTEQ mapping

The people that have the 430N RHB are happier with theirs, because it uses Garmin Mapping

Up in Canada the mapping on any of the Dodge radios suck, because the mapping companies have not bothered to map out the roads as much as they do down in the States

Cutting your dash a bit to have a good double din radio, instead of Dodges 1.5 din is done by many Ram owners. The after market radios are more modern & most of them are plug & play
Check out the CRUTCHFIELD website

also if you do any radio mods, get yourself a Noise Cancelling Microphone, full duplex if you can find one.
toss the Ram microphone in some corner or sell it
