Not all techs are created equal.. nor are dealerships... yeah, I am surprised they didn't offer more than they did... just got my beast back from the dealer today... auto tranny fluid change.. Honestly, I didn't expect any difference but was I surprised to feel an actual difference... makes no sense but... it's different! It actually shifts smoother! Makes this Engineer wind his butt and scratch his watch!

Sounds to me like you either had a good amount of debris in your fluid/filter or were low on fluid. I have flushed transmissions that were slipping and they drove/shifted 100% better for a couple thousand miles. Then back to the old slippage.......

I have a 07 ram Larimie and have similar issues I have the magnaflow side exit exauhst on my truck and when the MDS system kicks in it sounds like the trucks under water,
I have heard the Diablo Trinity proggramer can shut the MDS system off in our style trucks.

I also have a 07 dodge ram with the flow master exhaust and I would really notice the MDS at highway cruise speeds. I was not to sure if it was the truck or transmission. I would heard a tone change as well as an RPM increase/decrease, it was driving me mad. I bought the Trinity tuner and turned the MDS off, problem solved. The truck does not make the sound or the RPM change anymore. So far I love the trinity just need to learn a little bit more about it.
