This could be it....

Now when I say silent...I say silent compared to the Nitto Trails I have previously.
I can see how it has noise compared to stock, but It shouldn't be anything unbearable...
is this the case?
Or is it really loud?

I have the Terra Grapplers on my Xterra with OEM single factory exhaust. I gaurantee its quiter than your exhaust. It's my second set in about 4 years. I've never heard them in any conditions under any speed.

Whisper quite from the tires. In fact, after this thread, I took them out over the weekend and drove around for a good 20mins from 45MPH to 80 MPH. Nothing.

Something's not right with yours.

I have had Boggers and BFG Mud Terrains before. They are not near as loud as the Boggers but at 70 mph they are about as loud as my BFG's were at 55mph. Not really annoying until I hit around 70.

Yeah, I don't know what could be wrong with them. Doesn't sound like just one. They all look great. They ride smooth. Alignment is perfect. Tire pressure is set to Nitto specs. I just don't know. I will get the shop to check them out if I ever get time to take it back but I expect they will say it is just the way all terrain tires sound.

Yea. I drive 70 all the time and it's quiet. Not sure what to say....

Hmm...

Something caught my eye; what is 'set to Nitto specs' mean?

What PSI are you running them at?

Called Nitto and they said run 45psi. Tried 35, and 40 psi. They were quietest at 45.
