Default Front axle leaking after u-joint change

I hope i am posting this in the right spot .....

I have a 94 1500, danna 44 front axle. I just replaced the axle u-joint and hub assembly(right side). After getting it all back together, i drove it a few miles, and now i noticed gear lube coming out of the axle tube. Am i gunna have to pull the axle back out, the pull the diff cover and replace a seal??? All i did was pull the axle out, replace the joint, then push the axle back in ... did i mess up the seal???

Thanks for any and all help !!!!

I would bet the spring in the seal came out of the inner lip of the seal.

unfortunatly...... yes your going to have to replace the seal. when reinstalling the axle try not to let it drag on the seal all the way in. like stated you probably knocked off the spring or tore the lip of the seal.
