Default PAC LC-1 finally found a home

After living with my PAC LC-1 bass level control knob sitting in the centre console map pocket for a few months I decided to finally find a permanent home for it and the wires running to the amp behind the rear driver seat.

I was debating on installing it in the following locations:

1. Top row of switches above HVAC controls. The entire unit is sealed so no easy way to add a control.

2. Bottom row of switches (completely empty - where it says Ram) below the HVAC controls. The control knob electronics are too big to fit. Even if I removed the housing the circuit board is too big.

3. Shifter access panel above map pocket in centre console. No matter how I placed it the wires would interfere with the shifter cable.

4. Radio / HVAC bezel. Either drill a hole below 4WD knob or drill a hole in the centre of the bezel below the bottom row of switches. I really didn't want to drill a hole in the front of the bezel.

Decided on this spot.

There is a nice access hole in the bezel to run the wires.

I had to drill a couple of pilot holes for the 2 mounting screws but it's underneath and you can't see it. I feel a lot better now. No more wires hanging around and running under the floor mat in the rear.
