I installed the same 2/4 Kit and did have the slight shuffle left to right on bumps, and the bumps stops are close to bottoming out. I will be calling belltech for the shortened sway bar links as mine didnt come with. I was able to get the relocate kit for the panhard bar and couldnt figure out how it was mounted, but after reading through 3 different posts on the Z i was able to see where people had made custom ones to fit. Thanks for this great write up this is the first time I have lowered a vehicle and was not as difficult as i thought.

Thanks indeepwaterblue for you insite!!!

So i have had my Bell Tech kit for a month now I started with the springs and stock shocks on my 2013 QC. I did install the provided endlinks and the pan hard bar relocator. I did notice the pass side was a little higher and figured it would settle. Like every one else I figured with the lowered center of gravity I would obtain better handling. First thing I noticed was it sounded like I was running on shocks with 200k on them so I purchased there drop shocks because I figured that the stock shocks where compressed and didn't have any travel. So installed the new nitro drop shocks and I really had to jack up the front and rear to install them I figured since they were for a dropped truck they would be shorter and they would have the travel they needed to perform like a shock should. After the install I went for a test drive and the rear was all over the place and the feel wasn't any different from the first install with the drop spring and oem shocks. So I get on the bumper and start bouncing the truck and it bounced like a truck with 200k and the original suspension on it. Not good you would think new spring and shocks would have given me a better or stiffer ride. I also noticed some clanking sound when I bounced the truck coming from the driver side. Went under and looks like didn't fully tighten the top shock mount got another turn out of it and noise is gone but when I was under the truck I noted the top half of the ' PROGRESSIVE SPRING ' was fully compressed so the only spring action I am getting is from the bottom half?????? I'm really frustrated I thought BelkTech had did there homework or did someone send me the wrong shocks? Can some one help me. Thank GOD I AM ABLE TO DO THE WORK AT MY SHOP.

Thinking about oredering a kit for my tradesman..I'm hoping it will ride good and feel safe..I've had some Hondas with jacked suspension and great suspension..so I know what to expect there..some of these reviews make me nervous tho..should I get the kit with the shocks? I've heard good and bad..should I price a kit together with different brand parts?

I have the Belltec 2/4 drop too... I trimmed the springs slightly to get what I wanted. 1/2 a coil off the fronts and 3/4 coil off the rears. My kit came with a relocation bracket for the pan hard bar and it did max out the cam bolts to get it back in spec for alignment. It rides very well compared to my old school trucks I've lowered in the past.

is this an ancient thread??? I have the Belltech 2/4 with the performance shocks, Hellwig sways front and rear, Spohn adjustable pan hard bar and paid to have a pro shop install. It has 6000+ miles on it and I have had exactly ZERO problems. It sounds like people are not getting all the parts needed. Not sure though.

I do not have any issues either. My truck only has 5000 miles total and I did not opt for shocks since it was so new. I figured I would try the dropped shocks when it was time to replace shocks. I would have liked to do the sway bars but not yet($).
