I know this post is a few days old and it seems like you haven't been back on. But i hate to see a post go unanswered, really turns some people off to this actually great forum.

Honestly..most lifted trucks on here are 2009-2013s. Next up are the 3rd gens. So most of the advice that gets thrown around on here is for those. There aren't many people with older trucks like yours that are lifted on this forum that are familiar with lifting your year truck so that's probably why you haven't had luck with a response. but don't lose faith. google is your best friend. google lift kits for your year...research reputable companies. and just go with your gut. Actually better yet, take it to a local off-road shop and ask them

then be sure to post pictures! I hope you return

Some, but not a lot of support for 2nd gens on here. Just a product of the times, no ones fault.

I've heard good things about BDS.

But I've also heard great things about rough country, and their kits seem to be significantly cheaper and A LOT of guys on here are running it. Is it for looks? Or some hard offroading? that might help because different kits offer different parts.
