Sorry had not read over this. But there are Ford dealers running 20-27% off of full msrp. However, it is generally listed on stocks vehicles XLT/FX4/Lariat. Platinum/Titanium/Limited & however many other ultra high end levels they have are usually ordered specific with specific options.
Fairway Ford in Canton OH & Mcmahon Ford in St. Louis, MO(google them)are two places you can get a idea on pricing & see what your local dealers can do based on that.

Have been told both Ram & Ford get more aggressive in the summer on pricing, but did not see that last year when looking around.

Was there a trade on that? $10,500 off including tax title license sounds great, but have not seen that with exception to north of the border price structure,

Yes I did get the employee pricing. My mother works for CpK Interior Products.

Taken from Chrysler Canada's website for who is eligible:

Quote:
Eligible Participants for Employee Price Discount

All participants must be Canadian residents

Employees or Retirees of one of the following companies

Chrysler Canada Inc.
CNH Canada
FIAT Group
CpK Interior Products

Eligible Family Members of Chrysler Canada Inc., CNH Canada or Cpk Interior Products Employees / Retirees as listed below:

Spouses & Surviving Spouses (married or common-law)
Parents, Parents-in-law & Stepparents
Son / Daughter, Son/Daughter-in-law & Stepchildren
Brothers & Sisters, Brothers/Sisters-in-law, Half-brothers/sisters
Grandchildren
Stepchildren
Grandparents (of Employee, Retiree or Surviving Spouse)
Note: Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Aunts and Uncles are not eligible family members for Employee Pricing & Bonus Cash
Note: Employee Pricing & EP Bonus Cash is not transferable to friends
The employee pricing is also eligible for the bonus cash program which could be up to another $2500 off. At the time I went in the ram wasn't on the bonus cash program for that month, but I still wanted it.

So after I got a price from one dealer I took that price and deducted another $2500 and brought that too the other dealer and said that was what the first dealer was going to give me. They said they wanted to meet there numbers for that month and would do the deal.

Right now the Ram is on this month for $1000 bonus cash. So when my truck finally comes in I will be getting another grand off from what I already worked out with the dealer unless the ram comes off bonus cash in April.

I don't know what the discount is for cpk employees (really good apparently) and when the truck comes in I will ask to see the vehicle invoice price to get a better idea of what they did but after he gave me the price I wasn't worried how he got there.

This link may help some for the 0% deal currently. It is a link to a local credit union to compare finance rates vs rebates/discounts. Am sure the calculator is elsewhere online too. Was told by one dealer all rebates apply in addition to the 0%, but do not know for sure.

https://www.cefcu.com/forms/calcs/rebate.php

So that being said, am going to test drive a 8 speed Hemi in the morning. It is a Big horn 4wd. So should be in the $39-42k msrp range, have not seen the sticker yet. How much off should I be looking for? Straight out, no trade. The average on here seems to be around $7500? Would like to see 9-10, but am guessing that is not going to happen with the 8 speed?

Edit: just read the entire thread again. Going to push for the 9-10 range. It is the end of the month. If it doesn't happen, there will be the next end of the month.

I have been told (and not told) by several dealers about "Chrysler Price Protect"

It's all the incentives that you qualify for at the time of order.

One says, when you order it's whats avaliable at that time, nothing more when delivered.

One says, when you order they lock in what is avaliable at the time of order, then when you take delivery if there is something better you get those as well.

Another said they can only gaurentee $1,750 rebate and when delivery is made what ever is avaliable at that time. Is this something a dealer can change or modify to close a deal?

I did do a search but could not find any recent info.

So WTH is the real skinny on this. Thanks

Last week I purchased a 2013 Ram Express 1500 Quad Cab 4x4, can’t list all of the options but MSRP was $36.9k & I got the truck for $27.6k + taxes. I had no trade and the truck was only on the lot for 2 days before I bought it. I spent almost 3 hours negotiating with 11 counter-offers, I didn’t end up leaving the dealership until after 11PM on a Monday night. I had no special employee pricing or connections, just negotiated really hard and walked away twice. It feels good.
