how does the L brackets that hold the step bolt to the frame. I see the holes but there not threaded. If you have a picture of what it looks like please post

Riv-nuts have to be installed and collapsed in order to mount the steps. They should have been included along with the collapsing tool when you got the steps.

You'll need to see a dealer about purchasing a set of riv-nuts so you can in stall them.

My steps, which aren't OEM, had some flat steel that the bolts screw into that give you something to thread into.
