Default 2012 - adding turn signal mirror?

Hey everyone, you may have seen my other post in the general discussion thread about me taking the driver side door panel off and seeing this module. My question is, anyone here have a factory installed turn signal mirrors have a picture of what the mirror plugs into for the turn signal to operate? My module has an empty port (port 1) and I know the mirrors plug in to this module for positioning of the mirrors. (ports 2 and 5)

Attachment 34407

Or has anyone added the turn signal mirrors to there truck? how did you do it?

I'm pretty sure that if you add the turn signal/puddle lamp mirrors to the truck they will plug right into that module. You will then have to take it to the dealership to get the sales code added to the truck in order for them to work.

If your mirrors didnt have signals from the factory you cant add the after and have them work with a simple plug and play. Youll have to do some custom wiring to ge the signals to work as the modules with out factory signal mirrors dont have the pins for the signals and the code cant be added.

from the wire diagram I obtained from my dealership, pin 1 of the module is for the turn signal mirrors. I guess the only way to find out is plugging one in. Also, a friend who has the big horn edition just like mine which has the turn signals, his module is the same part number as mine. They look identical. I will follow up.

I spoke with a Jayincali earlier this week about picking up some mirrors he had for sell. He forwarded me the email from the RamTech that stated you can plug them up and will have to see the dealership to flash the mod. All rams use the same mod just programmed differently depending with or without turn signal mirrors. Hope this helps.

The question is... is the MODULE programmed, or does the truck "brain" get programmed. I can find a module that came off a truck with turn signal mirrors, if I get the modules (driver and passenger?) and the mirrors, would that mitigate a trip to the dealership and getting it programmed? RamTech? thoughts?
