Flowmaster: loud pretty much all the time, i have the 40 series, love it. Easier to get a feel for by watching youtube videos.

Magnaflow: fairly quiet at idle, when you gas it, nice tone to it, sounds good. the thing is...you just have to hear it in person..it's so hard to understand that it SOUNDS good...but isn't loud. I heard a fellow members 18"? I think... and it sounded good.

There are other brands:

Gibson, corsa, SOLO.

You can either change just the muffler..stick with the stock piping. or get a full catback kit (which is pricier obviously).

I did a single in, dual out flowmaster 40 muffler, with custom dual piping. here is a vid and some pics.

That video looks like your having a blast!!!

Again that was the Flowmaster 40 series. A lot of guys run the 44 series to, supposed to sound similar, maybe a tad louder and tad different tone.
I love the sound of my Flowmaster Super 44's. I took the real cheep way and just swapped out the old muffler for the Flowmaster. It is great sounding. The 40' sound real nice too as Gonefishin has shown. If I manage to get a video filmed tonight of it.. I will post up here to give a comparison.

Your truck will be one big loud beast.

Keep the flares!..

I have those exact flares. they look awesome!

Just save your pennys and work on making the truck a bit higher/tires to fit the broad shouldered look.

I am just sitting on 33's right now. It is a shame but 2 more inches higher and 35's and it'll look perfect... imo.

Thanks for the advise man. Respectfully, I don't want the 6" lift. Thats why i went with the 4". If I get bigger tires they will be 37s". That being said, I don't really want to invest tones of money in this truck. Next year I plan on trading this one in for a 2500 with the hemi and 4.10 gears. Thats the one that I will make as perfect as possible for me

This is my first truck and I can honestly say I don't want a car again.

Welcome to the addiction club. I don't know how people can drive cars.. They just seem so useless.. What do you do when You need to move stuff, or gotta pick up a pile of dirt, rocks or such?

If I go out tonight and find a good empty road. I will get my bud to film for me and I will post it to here for you.

Awesome man thanks!

Yeah I used to have little cars that saved gas all through college. I was one broke son of a gun haha.

Thanks to the big man upstairs I am not so broke anymore. Trucks paid off.
