Have some hi beam and low beam pics...

I used a Hi end plug and play kit called CAN-BUS they us all philips components. I tried a less expensive one on the fogs, however it didn't work. 2012 you could get away with it however this year Ram upgraded the wiring and it now requires a high end kits to stop flickering. I used 35w kits don't want to risk using 55w not worth the hassel and its a pain to keep changing bulbs in the ram truck. I have 10000k in the projectors right now as they were out of 8000's. will be putting in 8's in a couple of days. I like having a bit of blue with the white truck
they are 9006 bulbs in the projector and fogs and 9005 in the high beam "i think "

Do you have any pics of the install? Was there a good place to mount the ballasts? Did you have to modify the housings at all?

u can mount the ballasts on the frame right behind the headlight assembly.. take the grill off, then the headlights. their is a plastic clamp you need to pull down behing the headlight assembly to get them out. Go to the body shop and get some good quality adhesive 2 sided tap to mount the ballasts on the frame its good up to 25lbs so they wont fall off trust me. That way your not screwing 6 ballasts into the frame. Use a heat gun to warm the frame and the tap also clean frame with some adhesive bonding alcohol. You will need to drill out the plastic behind the headlight assembly to run the new harness through it. most of them come with a grommet. Sorry no pics of install

As the previous user asked, where did you buy them from?

I tried the kits from DDM tuning and they didn't work at all. It would flicker then turn off.

Hey man,

That looks really sharp. I have the same truck and was hoping to do the same thing. Have you had any issues since installing these? Would you mind sending me the website for where you purchased the kit from? Thanks!
