Default '03 SLT keyless entry

Hello, Just got my first Ram and I have a quick question. Should an '03 SLT have keyless entry as an option? I bought it from a guy who bought it used and only have one aftermarket key for it. Is it possible to buy new key fobs and somehow program them to open the doors on this truck? Thanks.

Yup. Mine has it. If you have the EVIC you can program new fobs with the overhead console. If you don't, then I think you have to take it somewhere to have it done. Have you cruised through your owners manual (if you have one)?

That's if you have keyless entry. I've been told if you have key holes on both front door handles you do not have factory keyless entry. It was an option although it may not have been an option that was added. Also, if your key is grey, you have an RFID key and they aren't very cheap.

I picked up a used remote start and keyless entry set up on eBay for $0.99. Be warned, remote starts are a fairly straightforward install, but not for the faint of heart on a dodge!

There are factory remote start kits but......they're not for 2003's (sucks for us).
