The winch is a Warn M12000, no different than the one you buy off the shelf. Most all winch drums can be clocked as this is very common for allowing differing mounting applications and rotating the drum the oposite direction is just a matter of switching the solenoid leads. If you pull the bumper off (I have) the warn M12000 label is right on the top.

I had my winch replaced and removed and the warranty company paid for it and heres the paper work .... and Ive pulled out buddies of mine... city trucks.. the winch Makes the Power Wagon stand apart from your standard 2500 Rams... if you wanna winch.. buy the Power Wagon if you wanna Ram with out the winch buy a 2500 Ram... but as the people say "to each is own"

Also when I needed the winch to be replaced... I called Warn and they told me they cannot do anything I HAVE to go thru Mopar.

Keep the winch for all the reasons listed above. A Power Wagon without a winch is like shoes without souls.

It's a Warn whinch, but it runs backwards. You can get parts for it, I just can't remember the model you need to give them.

I needed a 2500, but I needed the CTD more than the winch . Easier to add the winch later than the CTD! I'm actually trying to fab up a reciever mount for my grill guard, that way I can mount a portable winch.

My plan is to cable it with a couple high amp 12v aux plugs, then I can use it front and back on both trucks. Figure worst case I bend the hell out of a $90 winch tray and have to buy another, beats the hell out of waiting all day for a tow truck.

My plan is to use the 2/0 cables/plugs tow trucks use for jumper cables. Will also make it handy to do the neighborly jumpstart every so often.
