Also, I have a surprise for you guys... You can not hear the tires but they did lose a little bit of traction, nothing serious at all though. And this is completely stock. Forgot to check my gears... Although I still think it has 3.55 gears. Also I had the sliding back window open because I love hearing this thing accelerate.

2. What about the "3/4 tank of gas bump" that drives people crazy sounds like you are getting rear ended problem with new hemis? Did ram put baffles in tank?

3. How is your paint job? Some had bad paint up to 2012 models.

One more thing: Heheheee, this spinning rear tires not moving phase will stop when you realize that you need to save every penny you can for your future. At my age, my advice is to - stop doing that mess and save your truck and money! If you live long enough, you'll wish you did, believe me!
i'm also curious about all of the above questions....

Squirrel, that sounded great!! I understand about the brand loyal, I'm that way too. Having said that, to me, Chrysler makes the best looking vehicles! But hey, I'd get a Yugo truck if I knew it was the most reliable! Trouble free is what I like!! But, all of them are just man made machines - that I happen to like! I've never seen a truck I don't like!

They did equip one with 3.55s though for an extra $50.
3.21 would be pretty nice for the guy who never tows. I cant help but notice this on the sticker though-

Is there a tag denoting axle ratio on the axle itself?

Thanks! And yeah I really like the 2013 SRT Viper! If money was not a problem I would be all over one of those!

Also for the people asking about the axle, I just checked, and I have the 3.55 axle.

I looked at a couple of them on the lot but didn't see anything indicating axle. They didn't have the 3.55 equipped one when I was there and I had no interest in driving the 3.21 axle ones since I ordered mine with a 3.92.

I've driven my 14 hemi 8 speed 3.92 about 900 miles so far, averaging 20.4 mpg.

RCSB with 8spd and 3.55 in the rear

MDS is hardly noticable and only seems to come on at very low rpm/load...

even with my Magnaflow I don't notice...

To disable MDS either press "gear -" and put it in manual mode.. or drive with Tow/haul

no gas tank bump for me.. but I have the smaller 32Gal tank..

my silver Paint seems ok...

but my brakes do moan and groan which is quite annoying

The answer to the engine running 8 cyl to 4 cyl and back. You will notice it when you stomp on the gas especially when doing about 60 and then flooring it. When city driving in the 30-40 mph, you feel it but slightly. I had a Chev with the 5.3 and you could feel it all the time in that truck. I have 3:92 gears with the 8 spd and it will put you back in the seat when you stomp on it. I didn't drive a 6 spd because the articles I read about the 8 spd were favorable. The 8 spd is made in Germany by Mercedes.
