Default Radio / console question

Trying to install an amp and need to connect to the back of radio for remote wire.

I removed the two top screws and pulled out the top but the bottom is stuck. I have the shifter/console. What else do I need to do to get this out?

Thanks in advance.

Pop the surround off from the 115V plug (tab on the bottom), there is another torx screw there and then remove the rubber tray at the front of the console as there are 2 phillips head screws there. Then give it a good yank, it is tight.

I am sure you have probably found the instruction by now.

Thanks guys I did in fact find those videos before and thank god I did. That chrome plate around the shifter was a ball buster.

The blue/white wire from deck is the remote wire for those wondering.

I fed the power cord through the parking break hole to the engine, seemed to be the easiest.

One of the other places to go through the firewall, is the Clutch Delete Plate
all of the cabs are made identically, like a Crew Cab 1500 is the same cab that goes onto the 2500 & 3500 Crew Cab & some of those have stick shifts
