The "service" department at this stealer-ship should be avoided at all costs! I've had service done at this location a number of times, at I highly inflated cost I might add, because I expect them to be trained on how to do it properly. NOT THE CASE HERE!! I took my 08 RAM truck in for spark plugs, oil change and radiator flush. Trusting that they would know what they were doing I didn't bother to investigate everything under the hood upon my trucks return. A week later I had a check engine light so I investigated to find that my air intake system was just lying on top of the engine unassembled and disconnected from the filter box! I have an aftermarket intake on the truck but come on! My 5 year old could have put it back together! To make matters worse a few weeks later I noticed a ripple in my hood which I discovered was the result of some jerk leaving a tool on top of the battery and closing the hood on it! David Montgomery the service manager apologized for the intake but refused to believe that one of his people could have done the damage to the hood! I refuse to do business with these people ever again, nor will I ever recommend anyone else to.
This does not surprise me.

Only saving grace of the place was a sales rep who looked like Tracy Morgan. Worst experience ever. I went through 2 sales reps only to deal with a third pushy, rude, and arrogant sales manager who can't count to come up with a final cost of the vehicle. After a price was reached, they brought out another sales person to try and push off another $1300 cost for Scotch Guarding and an undercoating. The finance guy ran the numbers and came up with a different cost, only to be corrected by Madame President and come out $200 less than the original agreed upon price. Went back three weeks later to have NAV unit upgraded, they scratched the vehicle and tried to send me home telling me to wash and wax normally until the scratch magically heals itself. It took 8 weeks to get my permanent tags. I had three case numbers with Chrysler, LLC to get things fixed. If that wasn't enough, when Chrysler called to chat with the GM, she was redirected to the sales manager who immediately hung up on her. When she called back, he hung up on her again. I've put in calls to the GM and he keeps having his lackies and toadies return my call. Lastly, one of their sales reps asked me what they could do to make it up to me. I told them wheel to wheel side steps or at least a discount on them. When he brought up that idea to the managerial staff, they openly laughed and scoffed at him. Because of my experience with them, the wife (aka Madame President) refuses to own another Dodge product because we'd have to deal with another Dodge dealer. Bottom line, if you're in the DC or northern Virginia area, find a different dealership.

Any Lustine dealer is like this. They only care about the sale and not the customer. I dont know how they are still in business.

I got mine from Tomball Dodge in Tomball, TX (Houston).
Well the sales guys I had were very good, manager wasn't bad, and the finance guy didn't try to sell me any useless add ons. Overall it was a good deal. My main complaint was there aftermarket dept. They aren't very smart. There knowledge base wasn't very good for someone specializing in selling parts. After letting them do the 2" level and tint. It was a joke. I dropped the truck off at 9am and took till 9pm for a 2" level and tint. No time for the alignment since it was late. I ended up having my friend do an alignment. That was inconvenient but I was ok still. Next morning I noticed the rear door glass was scratched from the razor cutting the time and a small nic in the paint. I said I didn't want the door painted and mixed some touch up at work since it was so small. I really just wanted the money I paid for the tint job but they rather put a new window in. I am pissed because I know they will end up scratching something else or taking all day and then some. Well I will walk the truck with the guy when I drop in off next Friday. If it comes back with any kind of mark I will probably go nuclear at the dealership. I expect people to be more careful working on any new vehicle but especially one with a $43k sticker. For this guys well being I hope they don't damage the door panel or scratch anything else. I hate to be a dick but they couldn't manage to tint it without damaging it so how can they put a new window in without damaging it again. I would recommend this dealership to anyone buying a doge or jeep just take it elsewhere for anything aftermarket. Will update next week of I don't get arrested for aggravated assault since I will be very aggravated if my truck has any new damage

Rockland Ford, Rockland Ontario Canada

Bought my 2011 Ford Ranger from this location. Picked up my truck at night so a thorough walk through was near impossible. On a later date open the tailgate and notice that one tailgate cable is too long which cause the tailgate to put all the weight on the other tailgate cable. Also the tailgate doesnt sit right because of the odd length. Another issue is the squeaky clutch peddle when the cab warms up in the winter. Bring the truck in for warranty work. leave the truck there for a few hours and re pick up the truck. I didnt check the cable since the backed up the truck near a snow bank. Driving home, the cab warms up and the clutch start squeaking again. Get home, open the tailgate, and I notice that they had changed the cable but its still too long. Bring it back and talk to the service manager.

He says:
-We have a broadcast saying that odd length cables are normal and will not be changed under warranty (really??? Ford can't cut the cables of a tailgate the same length? They haven't changed the ranger since 1998 and in 2011 the tailgate still isnt right?)
-the squeaky clutch was checked by the tech and he determine that the squeak wasnt annoying enough for him to fix it. I told him that it wasnt up to his tech to determine if it was annoying for him or not, but how annoying it was for me. I asked the the manager to just add lub or oil the pedal and he refused.

I went home, and lubed the peddle myself (never squeaked again) and the to the day I traded it the tailgate never sat right.

I talked to a long of ranger owners who said that it was normal to get shit service from ford. Unbelieveable! you pay $20,000 or so for a brand new truck and you accept terrible service. I never went to that dealership for warranty work again.

***
My fiance goes to Ottawa Dodge and Jeep dealership for a few warranty issues on her '12 jeep Wrangler and she has always gotten amazing service. they even clean her jeep everytime they are done. They even go out to the parking lot to your vehicle to explain what work they did on your vehicle, show you what parts are new, etc. Now that's service.

Cavanaugh Motors located in Monmouth, IL.

The service there was not any good, they didn't want to help me out when I just bought my truck the fuel pump went out and they just turned their backs...

My mother has also had problems with them. She has a Neon that they don't know anything about. They had her car for 3 weeks spent over $1500 on it and its still messed up because the don't know their ass from a hole in the ground.

Default Dodge dealers give recall service bad taste!!!

Dodge dealers give recall service bad taste!!! Unbelievable!!! Took 09 Ram Truck to dealer,3RD TIME (Dodge of Burns.)Showed and described the HVAC recall symptoms TSB- K-17 recall, and the service Advisor continually deny's that my truck symptoms are not part of the recall. Do I not understand ENGLISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What part of this am I missing. This truck had this recall fixed in 2010 before I bought it. It clearly needs the same recall fix again. WHATS UP WITH THIS. OR THE DEALERS.

I'm having an issue with my dealer that is really dragging on. First off they keep telling me they have sent the loan company for the trade in vehicle a payoff. They have told me that they overnighted it 3 different times. When they finally went to pay them off they had drug their feet so long that they ended owing much more than originally was stated. They didn't send enough and ended up charging my credit card an addl. 325+ $$$ because of their error and dragging their feet. They still have not paid them off and the amount owed is still climbing. They keep saying they have sent it but it never gets there. The manager has promised to reimburse my $325+ back to me 9 days ago and I'm not seeing that either. I can't get return calls or return emails. I love this truck but if I knew it was going to this much of a headache I would have never switched brands. All I want is the previous loan company paid off and the money I was promised to be given back to me to actuallu get to me.This has been going on way too long. They have a pretty good reputation but somehow they must think I am walking around with a "kick me" sign hanging on my neck. Anybody have any advice as to what I should do next?
