Default Vararam warranty concerns

Hey guys I'm wanting the Vararam intake badly for my 2012 ram sport! With only 4000km's on my new truck I'm a little hesitant. It is drastic change over the factory intake and I'm wondering if the dealership would try and use it as an excuse if anything were to go wrong with the truck? thanks in advance!

The only way they could void the warranty is if they can prove that it was the aftermarket part that caused the issues. It works like that for every aspect of the truck.

I just installed a Vararam setup and I'm a little wary about the warranty. This sounds paranoid, but do changes like this get noticed and recorded when you go in for an oil change?

Are you having your truck serviced at the dealership?

Yep, a couple free oil changes were part of the deal. I've got one more coming.

That's cool. I would get there service done and then go to modding.

That's good, I figured it was a non issue, but then again you never know when Mopar might require their techs to notate "changes" for future claims.
