Question

Arth,

I know you have since gone with the factory LED tails, but in the time you had these did you like them? I'm looking to upgrade my 2010 to LED's but don't like the trim around the new factory ones. If these are decent, I'll pull the trigger.

Thanks for your feedback.

Guzzler, to answer your question, the LED tail lights that are non OEM and if you grab the correct one is pretty bright and very good.
That is what I am running on mine and they are tinted black as well
Light output is far superior over stock

Thanks fastNugly...

I was asking about the particular link he had posted above that he actually installed:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/09-DODGE-RAM...item19d44ddb2b

Are you suggesting something else???

Thanks,

-Guzzler

They were fantastic. The only reason I replaced them was because I wanted to follow more of a 2013 looking ram. I actually sold them to a member on this forum and he also says they are performing well.

I highly recommend them.

Appreciate the feedback.

On the 2013 Projector Headlights -- Did you ever publish a schematic or mapping of the pins on the light assembly? I know you benched them and figured it out for yourself but was curious if you documented it. I can do the same but figured why re-invent the wheel if someone's done the work.

Did you need to provide resistance for the turn signals so as to not get a fast blinker? I read through the whole thread and you alluded to the fast blinker but never heard whether it was resolved.

Yes resistors are required to deal with the hyperflash for the turn signals. I actually wouldn't mind if someone else took the time to give a nice layout. I went off the diagram that was found of the connector.

If I get these retrofitted soon I will take pictures of the actual pins and their function. Honestly I never got a good layout simply because I was more concerned with getting them installed and working. I never took pictures of the pin out. This is on my to do list if I have to take them out again.

Pretty much all the LED tails are fairly similar minus the branding of the big names
