Yeah, the problem with figuring out what I want is I don't really know what all my options are. I am not replacing my wheels right now, it's not a possibility. I can't justify it with the amount of home repairs I need to do this year.

So what I want is 2-4 inches of lift on my truck, but I don't want to sacrifice ride quality, I don't want to replace my wheels and I want to stay under $1,000. If that's not possible, then I'll hold off for now and won't lift it. If it can be done, I'm interested in what I need to buy.

If I buy the 5100's, it's my understanding that will get me 2.75" of lift, but will my wheels look awkward/small with that amount of lift? At that height, will it sacrifice ride quality? Do I need to buy anything else, or just the 5100's?

Also, what is rake? I have googled it but still don't really understand exactly what it is.

i ran my bilstiens at 2.75 with the stock tires for a long time doesnt look bad at all at this hieght as for the rake it just means the front end is lower than the rear to compensate for the time ur haulin trailer or box has alot of weight in it

So if I get the 5100's, I can get a 2.75" lift. I don't know what rake is. I really don't know anything about this stuff and I'm doing as much reading as I can, but there's so much info that it's going to take some time to figure it all out.

So in your opinion, is lifting my truck 2.75" worth it, or should I go a bit higher? I have a lot of home repairs to do this spring so I can't justify a set of new wheels right now. I need to keep my stock wheels, but at the same time, I don't want them to look small or awkward.

If I buy the 5100's, do I need to buy anything else?
Good thing about the bilsteins is if you decide to go higher you can stack it with a lift kit
If you are running stock wheels the level is the way to go
