Default 2003 1500 interior lights remain on

This just started happening yesterday. Unlock/open door and interior lights come on and remain on until 15 minutes after ignition is turned off. I have checked the roller switch and turned it full cycle several times just to see if its dirty or whatever. Problem remains. I removed fuse 18 which the list shows as being the appropriate fuse - lights remain on. Could it be relay in overhead console? Or ?? Any suggestions?

Default Further info

With a little further investigation I have discovered that if I remove the IOD fuse the lights operate almost as normal. That is when the ignition is off the lights go off and stay off. And the console remains functional otherwise. Replace the IOD fuse - and the problem returns. This leads me to believe that there is a relay somewhere in the system that is not functioning properly. But I have no idea where to to look now, for sure. HELP!!! Please....
