Default front bumper

anyone know (who am I kidding collectively this group knows everything) if a 2500 bumper fits on a 1500 with little to no modification?

I've heard the mounting brackets are different, so you'd have to have some new ones fabbed up. Then the grille won't fit right so you'll need a 2500 grille which means you'll need a 2500 hood too. It's quite an expensive mod when you add everything up.

Totally different brackets/frame. It's possible with fabrication, but then the grill doesn't match up either(more modification). Fairly involved project.
