Yes, yes I did. Apparently I had it working on the first try. But I was being stupid-silly thinking this trick would mute the chime at start-up.. apparently not the case. So I wasted over an hour and allowed myself to get seriously enraged and, quite honestly, extremely tired of clicking my seat belt. I never drive without it on.. but I purposely drove all over my property yesterday for no other reason but to drive without having my seat belt on. Two good things came of this.. 1) I loved not hearing the chime and didn't mind clearing the EVIC display by pressing 'Back' and 2) I didn't click my seat belt all day! Both were rewarding, but the latter was very satisfying. LOL

Dodge sells a seatbelt extender: http://www.mopar.com/part/05086227AA...2000523&b=jeep

My dealer gave me one for free. This will stop all warnings. As far as passenger, I'm pretty sure 2012 Ram DO NOT have passenger side seat belt warnings. Mine doesn't and I've read somewhere that none do.

These are just open circuits, when the tongue of the seatbelt is inserted it closes the circuit. So go under the seat trace down the two wires leading up the seatbelt buckle snipe them and splice them together ( leading towards the dash ) and no more !@# $%^& noise and or lights

Yeah, it was great.. while it lasted!
I drove home from work today and pulled up to check the mailbox. I left my seat belt off as I always do (just driving up our driveway) and the blasted truck chimed at me while displaying the driver not wearing seat belt message. Arg!! I haven't played with it since I last posted so I am not sure how it "forgot" my previous programming. I will be trying to do it again after I get home from work (have another client to go in for this evening).

CRAP! There goes my mental picture! LOL. Not sure why it would "forget" your programming. I did mine only once and it has been quiet ever since. Maybe a trip to the dealer? Sucks this is not working for you
