Default Bilstein 5100 TGC 1.50 rear spacer and RCX 1.25 body lift going on Sunday

So the parts are in and I found a day. I will be doing this on my own on Sunday so any pointers are greatly appreciated. I did find a few write ups that I'm sure will help it go smoother. I will get some before shots and after shots for sure. I had hoped to document it all for a write up, but now that I'm doing it solo it just isn't going to work out. Truck only has about 3500 miles so hopefully( I better not) dont run into any corroded bolts.

Come to think of it I dont have any pics up from when i got it...or what it is...wow I'm slacking!

as far as the bilsteins go:

here is the one that would be helpful if u had an older truck and the bushing might be seized...you shouldnt have that problem..but I'll still give you the link.

http://dodge forum.c om/forum/4th-gen-ram-tech/312121-bilstein-5100-diy-install-pic-heavy.html

and this one talks about removing the cap on the old shock so u can remove the spring seat

you need to rent a spring compressor from you local autoparts store. you put a deposit down and get it back when you return it. Just be safe and smart. A set of through sockets came in handy for me

Ok. I just read some post where a guy stated he did a body lift and when he was done the cab was off center...Is that even possible? Now I'm a little worried doing it myself.

yes it is possible. but if you take your time and adjust everything before tightening everything up, then you'll be fine.
